# The Glemser Foundation

> The Glemser Foundation, established by Raymond G. Glemser II and in formation, will guide young
> professionals and first-time founders in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley: pairing them with mentors
> and helping them build financial habits that last.

## Status

- Everything described on the site is planned.
- The Foundation is in formation, with its mission to be formalized in 2027.
- It is not yet incorporated or recognized as tax-exempt, and it is not accepting applications, donations or requests for support.
- Nothing on the site is an offer or promise of a grant, loan or other support.

## Planned programs

- Mentoring and community: young founders and the mentors who help them grow.
- Grants to individuals: recipients to be selected under criteria published in advance and applied objectively. No grant is promised in advance.
- Forgivable loans: loans paired with structure and guidance. Participants would track their finances in a personal finance app and meet a mentor monthly; a committee of the Foundation would review progress each quarter and could decide to forgive some interest or principal. Any forgiveness is never expected or guaranteed. Terms, including the interest rate, will be published before the program opens.
- Support for young companies (planned to begin after the others): the Foundation hopes to support young companies whose founders fit its mission, for example through loans or small investments made to further its purpose rather than for profit, overseen by a committee of the Foundation.
